Palms Resort Saipan, Saipan

The hotel was great. All rooms are ocean front. The view was awesome and the breakfast in the morning was not the normal fare of sweet rolls, juice and coffee. They had breakfast choices that were filling and very good. Saipan is exeriencing an economic slump like Guam is. The hotels are hurting for business. But because of that my room was very reasonable. I do have one complaint. They have Japanese (asian) style beds in the rooms. They are low down and are as hard as a rock. they did put a pad on my bed but it really did not help. I would suggest you bring a camping sleeping mat. although I used the Cushion from the loveseat and it worked pretty good. There is a schedule for the Observatory. It was not open when we are there. We are talking already about going back. Hopefully

This is the classiest resort on the Island...................and possibly the best kept secret. Fantastic value. Great fitness center, full set of pilates equipment and pilates classes, powerful telescopes for Astronomy program (very dark skies and the stars are amazing). Every room faces the ocean. Great Japanese, Korean and Middle Eastern food. American steaks. New flat panel TV's and iPod docking stations. Scuba, tennis, racquetball. Very private and away from the sleazy parts of the island. ONLY HOTEL WITH NO POLLUTION IN OCEAN WATER OR BEACHES.

nikko hotel is a pretty good place to stay.. it's close to the site seeing places and some really good beachs and their employees are really nice...
