The Mira Hong Kong, Kowloon City

The rooms are very comfortable and they are very clean the time you leave your room the time they start to clean and repair the room AND GIRL WAITRESS ARE PRETTY

Stayed April 7-10 & it's been a great one that my kids wouldn't want to leave.The front office personnel were courteous & made sure that our room request was addressed.They even told us to expect some noise during daytime 'coz of some repairs nearby yet it's not even noticeable from our room.In my 9 times in HK this is definitely 1 hotel i would consider going back to.The location is great being connected to a shopping mall.Our room was always immaculately clean especially the bathroom.The vault was very useful too.However, i was dismayed upon check out that the concierge didn't bother to help us bring down our luggage to the bus that wld bring us back to the airport.

There are so many great things to say about the Hotel Miramar. Being my first time in Hong Kong, I really had no idea what to expect of where I'd be sleeping, because we all know the internet is not the most accurate resource for things like that. I'm happy to say that the service and location were top-notch in every way! Everyone was incredibly friendly, even going so far as to write directions on my map in Chinese for me to hand to the cab driver. They have a wonderful indoor pool that a great way to relax after a long day of sight-seeing in Hong Kong's natural humidity. Also, it's located on the very busy Nathan Road, but the rooms are sound-insulated so you won't have a hard time falling asleep. My only complaints, if I had to complain, was that the water in the shower takes a really long time to go down the drain, so before long your feet will be splashing around as if you were taking a bath. Also, due to the 80-90% humidity average in Hong Kong, every building loves to crank up the A/C to ungodly freezing temperatures. Pack some long-sleeve PJ's for a more comfortable (and warm) sleeping experience. Due to the fact that it's located in a well-known "tourist" location, you'll have many individuals approaching you, on an everyday basis, asking if you'd be interested in fake Rolex watches, or custom-tailored suits. A tad bit annoying, but ultimately harmless. Other than that, you can't beat the service, comfort, amenities, and prime locations to cool spots. I'd absolutely stay there again.

Pros: Location, breakfast, "okay" cleanliness Cons: Their weekend manager on duty should not be in the service industy. UGH! Too long of a story, but even a Motel 6 would have taken better care of me. No free internet access, but you can pay $6USD per 15min. Back to the Holiday Inn or YMCA next year- they were not pretty but at least they have managers that fix problems. Tip, GM is also in charge of Chamber of Commerce in HK...beware. Lots of "good" ratings.

I've been in this hotel twice. In 2004 and 2006. I really like it there. They have good service and it's really clean. I love the shortcut from the hotel to the shopping center. It's pretty cool. I can't wait until the next time I go there.

We stayed at Miramar Hotel Sept 2005. It's located along Nathan Road. Near MTR stations. Very near Granville where you can find wide selections of clothing and accessories. The hotel staff courteous and friendly. Room service Ok.

We stayed for two weeks. It was a 5 star hotel at a 3 star price.

Excellence location, right next to the Victoria Harbour, also shopping centers and the Kowloon Park. Newly decorated executive floor plus friendly staff

Convient location, excellent service, very friendly and courteous staff. Very good value. Have stayed at the Miramar in years past and will stay there again in the future.

For the price you pay for this hotel (I paid usd80), it has a great location on Nathan Road and huge rooms for the standard guest room. The rooms are really clean and the hotel faces Nathan Road.

Miramar hotel is in between two MTR station and it features an awesome restaurant that has a buffet that is an all time favorite among the Hong Kong people. Miramar is also steps away from the clubbing area.
