Orient Palace Hotel, Sosah

It's great hotel! Rooms are very good! It's not like 5* in Europe but it's very very good. THe food, location and service is excellent!!! The people who works there are very, very kind!

We did not get on good night's sleep because of the noise from the Hotel over the road. Food very good.Staff very nice and helpful Room good but very noisy. Hotel very clean. Our complaint was the noisy room. We could not move because the hotel was full. Not a good hotel for older people - very good for young.

To be honest,i liked everything!:) Really.:) People are just great and service is wonderfull.:) I would like to go there again and again!:) Maybe for somebody animation programms will not be perfect,but i liked them too.Really,it was fun and interesting!:) I just can suggest to go there and check everything out.:) You will not be sorry 4 that!:) Big kisses to everybody in Orient Palace. This place is advertised as 5 stars. Be warned that this system is not consistent across the globe. In european standards it is maybe 2-3 stars so don't expect any luxury in any way. But this isn't the main problem. The staff were nothing short of rude, patronising and unhelpful, even the manager. The cleaners ordered us out of our room when they wanted to clean it and woke myself and my wife to stock the minibar at 7am! We felt unwelcome and would recommend staying in any hotel other than this one.

only one thing i didn't like the animation they should something better- i'm a teenager so what i love is having fun but the animation didn't please me the manager Mr SBIHA JAMAL was very nice and he new how to treat people please send him a greet

if i don't look at the people who work there everything is perfect. But i don't mean as they look, but i'm refering to the way they act. if you are a single woman you can't enjoy your holiday. The men are very insistent and if you don't accep their invitations they treat you,after, very bad. also, nights will be more pleasant if you change that boys who are intertaining the guests. also. this is for mornings too,at gym pool. maybe if you find 2 or 3 boys who are adults and look perfect for that program. 2 boys who knows how to dance and who know how to speak with the guests. another problem are money. at every service that the people who work at the hotel do for you, if you don't give them at least a dinar,next time, you will not be served properly. this includes the woman who is cleaning the room. are a lot of problems but i don't have time now to write it. maybe another time. finnaly- if you want your guest to be pleased, please make some changes and make some rules for your emploiers. goodbye.

the staff- gipsy, they don't miss a chance to get your money from your pocket! take care at yuor goods. don't pay cash!!!! the beach- very short and uncleaned. NO INTERNET CONNECTION IN THIS HOTEL!!!

I have just come back from the orient palace in sousse. It is the worst experience that I have in a hotel. It seems that you are bothering or disturbing the staff all the time. The maitre shout us in the restaurant because when we entered the room nobody was there to show us where to sit, so we look for a clean table and we sit, we have started eating when the maitre came to us and asked us very unpolite that we have to change the table. they placed us in a dirty table, bringing our food again, nobody helped us. Next day the same story but this time we refused to changed, so he started to shout us. Even another client told us not to move and fill out a claim form. The restaurant was a nightmare all the time, dozens of clean tables but they have to place you in dirty ones, you started eating and you have no glass, or no fork, It was very funny in the breakfast to see people stir their coffes with knifes. Second, we asked for a quite room, but they decided to give us a room just the opposite. the room was oriented to a part of another hotel. this hotel have music all the time. it is imposible to take a rest after lunch, it seems that you are in a disco. It costs us going to the reception for 3 times and staff from the reception told us that the manager was very busy to speak to us. Very busy to speak to clients??. We had to call our touroperator and finally we could move. Woman who clean the rooms enter at the rooms when you are inside, take the towels and do not replaced them in more than 3 hours. So once as I wanted to have a shower I have to look for a woman and she does not want to give 1 towel until the room was cleaned. Just to finish... I have travelled for more than 30 countries and I have never had any problems except in this hotel. Even in cheap pension around middle east people is friendly and helpful. I will not recommend you to stay here. Also we tried to fill out a claim form and we had problems with this. It seems that you fill out a claim form but you are not allowed to keep any copies of it.. Unbeliable....

Nice hotel, nice service,polite stuff. good room service clean beach... We don't like when they close the oposite door to the beach at nights, last year.. Before 2005 we had the chance to sit in the beach at night and swim... now it is closed at night.... we will come again................

i was very impressed about the luxurious rooms and all environment and i am thinking to go back there shortly,very good value for money, try to watch the sea from a very comfy bed!
