Average even for a cheap deal!!

Two friends and I booked a week for the end of January to this hotel. We were just looking forward to spending time together, enjoying and making the most of the All Inclusive deal!!
We arrived midday on a Sunday, hungry and tired. We had missed lunch so thought we would get a snack at the snack bar, which was a joke. The snack bar was just dried up leftovers from lunch. We asked for some fruit and we were told no, then the person we asked walked past us eating an orange!! So bread it was. The food at dinner didnt get much better and again the snack bar was still leftovers.
So very disappointed about food we thought we would just have a few drinks. Again we were a bit disappointed as we were told it was full All Inclusive, but there was limited alcohol drinks were available, vodka (awful, have it weak), gin, brandy (which they had watered down, we actually saw this happen) whiskey, wine (hit and miss) and beer. It is not 24hours either, closed at midnight (although they took down the clock bout 20minutes earlier. (still served till 12) there was happy hours for the spirits and depending on the mood of the barmen, depended on what or when you could have certain spirts. You also had to pay for extra drinks and for drinks in the 'cocktail bar' which was actually the 'disco'.
We did complain the next day to the rep, (who u only saw at welcome meeting, but phone number is with reception.) That night they did give us what we asked for however next time we asked for anything, we were told no.
The food did get a little better, not much, the snack bar carried on being leftovers. The only fruit was oranges and a few times there were apples. If you are a fussy eater or dont want to be eating mainly bread and would like to have a wide choice of food this is no place to go (in low season anyway)
I also wouldnt recommend it for it all inclusive purpose as it shows it has five bars and three restaurants but it had one of each open at this time of year any way.
Some of the staff were lovely and made so much effort with us, others were not bothered and others were rude at times. (they do work extreme long hours) They could all speak English, and being three females some were wanted a bit more (which is the same every where we went)
The actual hotel was lovely (one review said outdated, wouldnt agree with that.) Our room was fine, not as good as we thought being a 4star but more than adequate. The only point i would make is that our toilet always smelt and a few of the communal toilets did as well, this was due to a leak (thats is what we thought) Id also say not to get to excited over the amenities as you have to pay for all of them apart from the pool's (didnt cost a lot though) and they are not as good as you would think.
If you are going for golf or just for sunbathing on the beach or by the pool this hotel is perfect. If you want to shop, eat out or go out and about stay in Sousse as there is nothing around this hotel. However there are busses and taxi's for under 2 to Sousse.
Over all i would say this hotel is fine for families with young children and golfers. It was clean and tidy, however i would only ever go back if it was a really cheap deal!!
