Milimani Hotel, Kisumu

All right to start off, i want to begin by saying the best quality that this hotel has to boast is its food! I always filled up on the morning breakfast buffet, particularly the omlette bar... If the same guy is working there, your going to love it!! The pool was refreshing but it was fairly unclean. The rooms were spacious and the top floor gives an amazing view. The service is alright. BTW, the guy who opens the gate (Fred) is a joker!! I should also mention that the hotel is very close to the city centre.

I have stayed at this hotel five times on my own and once in the apartments with my family. Overall my impression is positive. The location of the hotel is great; you can access town centre, Community, Yaya Centre and Westlands easily. The rooms have improved with new linnen and TV sets and most have good balconies. Only two problems I encountered were power outtages and overbooking leading to Dec 07 elections; the place was so crowded yet they did not scale up service. It dropped to a 1* then otherwise it is usually a great place that delivers value for money. I look forward to return there next week. Morrison Muleri

Ive stayed there 3 times the past 2 years and enjoyed it very much. Since 2007 they have also changed management and I recommend the veggie pasta dish with garlic bread. Staff and service is 100 %. The pool is ok and the hotel is only 10 minutes walk to the city centre. A plus is also the cordless internet network system. Im going back in december with my family and we are all really looking forward to it! Robert W. K

all service staff brilliant,rooms large airy and clean,food excellent,good value for money.cannot wait to be beside the great pool drinking a cold bottle of tusker!!
