University Guest House & Conference Center, Salt Lake City

The Guest House is located on the University of Utah campus. It is clean, the staff is extremely helpful and the location is great. They offer a great continental breakfast each day for free and I got a newspaper at my door every morning. I was able to take public transportation to downtown SLC in about 10 minutes. There is hiking, biking and golfing just steps from the front door. The rooms are great, fridges, microwaves, coffee makers, wireless internet, and there were about 60 tv channels to pick from. There is a workout room that has everything and the views from the hotel are awesome. They even have a small convenience store with food and other itmes. Plus there is a free internet computer in the lobby if you need to check your emails. I wasn't sure what the guest house would be like but the service and cleanliness rival any 4 and some 5 star hotels. If you are in SLC check this place out!
