Savannah Suites Jonesboro, Jonesboro

I called the day before I was to check in so that they would know it was a late check in. The gentleman on the phone said that was fine. I got there at 10:30 pm only to find a closed sign on the office door. The security guard came up and informed me that all Savannah Suites offices close at 9:00. I asked her if this was a hotel and she replied yes. She was very helpful when I told her that I had called and she showed me a room on the 2nd floor. The room had not been updated in 20 years. There were stains all over the floor and drawers falling apart on the dresser. There wasn't even a lamp on the bedside table. I asked to see another and she took me to the 3rd floor where the room looked identical only this one had cockroaches. Needless to say, I didn't stay. It has been a week and I still haven't received my refund. The location was great because we were only a few miles from the Atlanta Motor Speedway. As far as the price, they are overcharging for what you get for your money. It's a repulsive place and I wouldn't let my dog stay there.
