We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. Great value, helpful staff and good breakfast. Rooms are not large but extremely reasonable for Italy. I would highly recommend it.

I went here with my boyfriend last year for a few days after visiting Paris. We had stayed in a hotel that was in the center of a city. Loud noises and sirens woke us up- it didn't feel much like a vacation. When we checked into the Best Western in Sant Elena, we realized it was exactly what we imagined for a romantic getaway. The service was welcoming, and always helpful. The people at the front desk even got to know our names, and we were only there for three days. Breakfast was in an elegant dining area, and was delicious. There is no conceirge, but anybody working was more than willing to go out of their way to let us know where to go, and how to get there. The location was ideal. It is only a five to ten minute walk to San Marco, but it felt like a whole other world. Set back from the canal, there was a beautiful green park you had to walk through to get to the hotel. What was wonderful was that it is set in a neighborhood. We would pass locals in the mornings at the bar/snack bar next door in the morning, and grab a cold one on the way back at night. The room was incredible! It was larger than our appartment, spotless, and had views of the water from each and every window. We loved it so much, we are going for an entire week this summer.

Great hotel. Close enough to walk to St Mark's in a quiet clean neighbor. Clean. Beautiful courtyard. Restuarant very good. Water taxi stop just a few feet away.
