BEST WESTERN PREMIER Hotel Dante, Barcelona

I didn't know what to expect, this being my first time in Spain. Hotel Dante staff are multilingual and very helpful. The room I stayed in was squeaky clean. They spent 30 minutes helping me when I was having trouble connecting to their wireless internet router. This hotel is only 4 blocks from Rambla de Catalunya, which turns into La Rambla further east. If you go one more block, you will reach Passeig de Gracia. The hotel is within walking distance to Plaza de Catalunya, La Pedrera house, and Casa Batllo. Depending on how far you are willing to walk, you can walk to the Gothic area (Barri Gotic). The official city Tour Bus (Barcelona Bus Turistic) makes a stop at La Pedrera, so it is easy to get to from Hotel Dante. The hotel itself is in a mostly quiet section, so you probably won't have to worry about noise during the night. The breakfast buffet has a nice selection, but it is expensive (24 euros per person when I was there). There is a full service bar and restaurant behind the lobby. The food and drink selection is decent. Restaurant prices are reasonable. In my opinion, the food was very good in both the restaurant and the breakfast buffet. They do offer free WiFi in the lobby and the rooms. It is a little on the expensive side, so I would not recommend it if you are on a tight budget. But I would recommend it to anyone else. The service was prompt and courteous. The whole place was extremely clean. I felt this hotel was worth the price. I would definitely stay there again.
