really good service

dislikes: no-one could speak english, luckly we had a dictionary. hotel restaurant prices were silly i.e for a glass of cola the prices are 9.80 euros. likes: even thou there could not speak english there were very helpful. service was very good, cleanliness is excellent. location was not bad, to get to the main part of madrid it only costs around 8.00 euros from your hotel by taxi. if you cant speak spainish go to the reception area in hotel praga (antanio lopez) and ask for CARLOS, he was really helpful and fanstatic, he recommend us were to go etc.

I think it is a 3-star hotel, not a 4-star

This hotel doesn't porvide city maps for the guests, the bar treid to charge 4 euro for a bag of ice, and it DOES NOT have internet service. The subway station is 15 minutes of walk, however the bus stops right in front of the hotel.

Perfect Value for Money

Even though really cheap, it is very luxurious. 10 minutes away for central places. Bus stop right outside the hotel. Metro station just ten minutes walking distance. Perfect for university students who don't want to spend a fortune but they don't want to stay at a youth hostel either. Generally for Madrid though: Be very cautious. Lots of small thefts. Watch out your personal belongings while in crowded places. No problem with the hotel though.

A great place to stay to explore Madrid

The location of this hotel was just right for us. About 20 minutes by bus from the Playa Major - we enjoy staying out of city centres - but soon got into the city. The bus stop was right outside the hotel. The room was very comfortable - well appointed with a comfortable bed and very nice bathroom. The reception staff were helpful - on arrival we requested a quiet room on a high floor and we got exactly what we requested. We didn't eat in the hotel, but there are places round about to eat. We ate in the city centre before the short bus journey back. A great place to stay - we would stay there again with no hesitation.
