Great price, clean, great customer service
It appears they recently renovated the rooms, or at least the one I was in, so everything was clean. I called them directly and got a price lower than the online price, so that made me even happier. The area is quiet once the traffic dies down in the evening (they are very close to a traffic light, so it was a bit noisy during the Bishop "rush hour"). There is no restaurant, but there are a few in walking and driving distance.
My main complaint, which is pretty consistent with all hotels, is that the lighting in the parking area is horribly bright, and even the blackout curtains let a lot of light in. You would think in this day and age, that hotels would have figured out that good lighting design that simply didn't leak into the rooms in the first place, thus making blackout curtains unnecessary, would make for happier, better rested guests. And, if done right, would save tons on electric bills, to boot.
That said, Mountain View was no worse than any hotel I've been in over the last several years, so this is hardly a complaint about them.
