Days Inn Fremont, Fremont

1) I booked this room online for the rate of 39.99+ tax and upon arriving I was told by the very rude manager "Bill" that I booked a smoking room. (which I did not) I told them to switch me to a non-smoking room and he said "I have to charge you more money". Trying to talk to "Bill" is a losing situation, he will NOT budge, he is ALWAYS right! This so called manager would not cut me a break and the hotel wasn't even full. I even went back online to check to see the rate for a non-smoking room and it was still the same rate: 39.99. I am going to file a formal complaint with Days Inn. He does use this a lot "This isn't Motel 6" trust me, Motel 6 around the corner is a better place to stay than here, PLEASE don't waste your time!!! 2) The pillow cases were disgusting, smelled like they are 3 weeks old and haven't been washed. The pillows itself need to be thrown away. 3) If you look behind the furniture, especially the bed. There is so much dust and dirt!!! I'm not even exaggerating. Even look under the microwave, very disgusting! 4) I saw a roach come out of the table, Nasty!!! 5) I assume this place has bed bugs because I had hives and bumps and was very itchy the whole stay. This is the worst hotel experience, your better off staying at Motel 6 or in your car. Don't believe the + reviews or any of the online pictures. This place needs a total overhaul.

I booked this hotel in a last week of August to the first week of September of 2011. First of all he gave a room with missing window and no safety device installed for children's safety; Luckily I have noticed it right away before my three years old son can reach it. They were not willing to change the room but after a threat of filing complaint. they finally had to changed it to smelly dirty room. Hotel owner Bill, assured me that the rates I am getting for the first three days will be extended if I need extension but three days later he refused to even admit that he had any type of telephonic conversation with me ever and told me that this is not a motel 6 and I should go to motel 6 if I want to pay anything less than his asking price ( I was already paying $60 a night for filthy room).

The rooms in this hotel are not suitable for habitation. They have a serious bed bug infestation (in the two rooms I was unfortunate enough to go in). I was in town for 6 nights, but left the hotel after about 30 minutes, though the manager refused to give me a refund for any portion of my 6 night booking. Days Inn corporate refused to help. Nothing like a shady hotel owner and a major corporation saying 'haha got your money, you can't get it back'. Ended up paying for 6 nights and staying none. Stay far far away from this Days Inn, there are other much better places available for a couple dollars more. I'd also recommend steering clear of Days Inn in general unless you see a significant number of stellar reviews for that location.

Upon arrival to this dirt-hole I was informed that the power was out. After returning several times during the evening and finding no change in the power situation I had to go to another hotel. However, this manager still checked me in and charged my credit card.......for 6 nights. When I called and tried to resolve, he became hostile and began to shout at me; informing me that he will not give my money back. What's even more crazy is that Days Inn corporate has been "handling" this for 8 days now and still no resolution.

Staff were rude & unhelpful . After checking in I went to my car to go for dinner. The owner came out and started banging on my car window. He was demanding I come back in because he had undercharged me $8 and wanted the money. In the morning I went to get coffee from the continental breakfast, when I lifted the sugar packet ants came running out and were in the food. When I told the front desk the only response was "yeah" and he went back to the internet. The room wasn't bad but I question how clean it really was after seeing the breakfast room.

I do not know what others are talking about, but this is a great place for the price. Things were new in my room, comfortable beds and the breakfast was very good

Awful service, change rooms twice, and they will charge you for everything you ask for. If you stay in the first two floors dont expect any silence or rest.

Everyhting was fine. It was clean and quiet. I would highly recommend this place to all travelers.

nice location,brand new amenities,complete renovation,friendly staff.water pressure and wifi is excellent.Real business class hotel with little price
