Horrible.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/22/09
When we arrived there were residues all over the surfaces in both bathrooms. The wall paper was peeling in multiple places, and there were large balls of dust in the corner. There was old popcorn under my bed and there were crumbs in the other bedrooms as well. The management was rude and the staff was noisy when we were trying to sleep in the morning. Never been treated like that by management at a hotel/resort before. Don't believe the reviews that management is giving themselves... you can pick out the "real" ones.

unclean, unfriendly staff
By college graduate, 08/14/09
The manager, John Fahnestock, was rude and unfriendly. After we complained about the blood on the floor in the bathroom on arrival he decided we were a "problem" and said he did not care what the problem was, he did not want to hear about it. The housekeeping staff congregate outside the bedroom window evey morning at 7:30AM andloudly discussed plans for the day. If you are really hoping to rest, don't come to this resort. If you don't mind poor cleaning and unfriendly staff you might be OK

can't wait , we love it there!
By Corey, 02/23/08
We love where it's centrally located and so close to the great beach. The resort has very friendly service and we really love the bar/resturant downstairs. It's wonderful!

GREAT PLACE TO GO
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/20/07
LOVED THE LOCATION, ALL UNITS ARE BEACH FRONT. SHOPPING IS VERY CLOSE. WONDERFULL SUNSETS, THEY GO FAST. WE EVEN GOT TO SEE NASA LAUNCH A ROCKET FROM OUR BALCONY. CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK. ONLY BAD THING WAS A LONG DRIVE FROM INDIANA.

My winter time piece of heaven
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/19/07
I love Discovery Beach. We go to bed at night listening to the sound of the surf and wake up to watch the sun rise over the ocean. We meet the same people year after year and it's like "Old Home Week." It only takes about an hour to get to the theme parks if you are so inclined, and has everything you need within a few minutes' drive. Yet it is a very peaceful place to stay. You can watch the dolphin and cruise ships go by from your balcony and are just minutes from Cape Canaveral too. Every room faces the ocean. Two bedroom units will sleep 6, (1 king, 2 twin beds and a hide-a-bed.) The people at the resort are very nice, and helpful too. They are very good to my mom who stays with us. The pool is warm and they have wonderful tennis courts and a covered garage to park in. The restaraunt has an award-winning swiss chef and fondue night is wonderful. He's also a huge fan of Survivor and they have Survivor theme nights. Great place to stay in Cocoa Beach! Love it!

Fantastic Place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/05/06
We just had our family reunion here. We had 4 units total, and found them, clean, large, well equipt and the view was awesome. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Pool was crystal clear, and all 21 of us thought the place was terrific.

Spacious & Clean
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/11/05
The condo was very up-to-date as far as building materials, furnishings and appliances. The furniture was very comfortable, the master bedroom was huge and had its own bathroom, it also had an incredible view of the ocean as one wall was all glass, opening out to the balcony. It had a balcony that was as wide as the unit, 30-40 feet? The patio furnitue was nice and padded, not the plastic chairs you generally see. And what a view! It is not unusual to see dolphins out at sea and a few local surfers! It was convenient to not to leave the condo to do laundry since there was a stack washer & drying in the unit. The resort has a nice, heated swimming pool, lighted tennis courts, a family-friendly restaurant with daily specials and covered parking. Not to mention ocean-front location. Disney & Universal Studios are approximately 1 hour away. Kennedy Space Center is even closer. Wal Mart, Walgreens, grocery stores & surf shops are close by. This is a terrific resort, especially for families.
