Salt Creek Inn, Nashville

We have been coming to Nashville for years. With friends and without. Stayed many places in town and then we found Salt Creek. it was great for years and then it started declining little by little. First it was cutting back on the bath amenities.(soaps, facial cleaners etc) Next, owners started taking out the beautiful furniture and replacing it With not so exciting replacements. The linens are getting real tired.(especially the pillows) The housekeeping used to be great. Not so much now. Now you are asked to take out Your trash, start the dishwasher, start the washer. Might as well be @ home. Anyway, we saw salt creek when it was a really nice place to stay and now............. It's really tired. We will continue to come to Nashville but won't stay @ Salt Creek. You would think that since competition is so great for your money these days that companys would do everything they could to get and keep business. I have found just The opposite here. The golf is great and restaurant is ok. Have a wonderful trip to Nashville but stay somewhere else. The worst part about the whole thing is that we Left a list of the things with management that we were unhappy about and we never got a reply, not a sorry for anything not a word. Very poor customer service. There are a few nice places to stay in and around Nashville so go out and find them. so sorry not a word

Oh my goodness, went with my family to stay have some fun and play golf. What we got was a bunch of drunken parties keeping us up all night. Instead of getting up and enjoying our day, we were tired and didn't feel like doing much. When we complained in the office, we were told there was no one there at night if we had a complaint next time to call the police. WHAT! You have no night staff for such things. If you want to party all night, then this place is for you. If you are looking for some quite family time, stay someplace else.

Spent Friday night at The Salt Creek Inn. Would have to be DESPERATE for a room to ever return. For $84.00, I would have at least expected an alarm clock, coffee pot, blow dryer and and iron. None of those things! Thank goodness for the McDonalds next door for breakfast!

the Salt Crek Inn is a good room for a fair price. the staff is friendly the room we had for the night was clean and roomy. the parking lot is well lit and convenient access to grocery store , Mcdonald's, Pizza King, and easy access to hgwy 46. the one disappointment was the Pine Room Tavern is closed til further notice. If you are looking for an evening of entertainment the Saloon Bar is right across the street inside the Seasons Loge. they serve food until 9:30 and after that you can still get a cold sandwhich and chips If you are looking for a getaway spot you wont be dissapointed in choosing the Salt creek Inn.

We've stayed at the Salt Creek Inn several times over the years and we've never had a bad experience. The staff has always been very friendly and have always treated us as if they're happy to have us stay with them!! The rooms have always been very clean and where else can you open your door and see cows in the field!! We come to visit Nashville and it's, of course, very convenient. We've been to the little restaurant, mentioned by the other reviewers. and they're right about the food and the atmosphere is fun! We're planning a trip in March and will be staying at Salt Creek, of course.

The hotel looks a little old and is but is in a good location if you are driving. The room was clean and smelled clean and was half the price of the comfort Inn. No frills in room like coffee maker, hair dryer,shampoo, but a good TV with cable and remote. Staff was very friendly and lets us do a late check out at 2pm with no charge. I was worried when I only saw 3 pictures of the hotel on their web site and was getting ready to cancel the room when I read all the past reviews so I decided to give it a try. I would use this hotel again.

We were there in Aug 2008 for 2 days Rooms are very clean and staff all are very nice. It is close to downtown, the Tap Saloon has great food. it is in the rear of motel. also trolly stops there for tours. Frances, New Castle,In.

This is the only place in Nashville that will let you stay one night during a weekend. We have stayed three times over the course of 2 years. Staff is always friendly and courteous. Sandy New Castle, IN

This hotel was good in all aspects. A nice place to enjoy. Good service was given by the hotel staff, would like to visit this place again along with my family and friends

The stay was great. And the strip mall behind the place was great. The bar had the best cheeseburgers i ever had. And was very close no need to drive. Everything we needed was with in walking distance. And the hotel was excelant. Dont let the price fool you. I stayed ay a very expencive hotel there 1 time .It had nothing compared to salt creek inn.
