Econo Lodge Southeast, Milwaukie

Have stayed at a lot of Budget Hotels, but this Econo Lodge is a perfect 10. The rooms are always very clean and we always get a great nights sleep. A little further in off the I 205 but it's really only 2 miles from Clackamas and a short drive to Oregon City. A hidden gem for the budget traveler!

Warm smiles and a well maintained hotel close to many attractions Portland Oregon has to offer. We loved the large suite rooms and the value we got. The hotel rooms have good sound proofing and we had a great nights sleep with no freeway noise!!! Good job Econo Lodge Southeast!

The staff was very accommodating, we stayed at the Econo Lodge Southeast for 2 nights and found this place to be a great hotel for its location(6 miles from the Portland Downtown area) and comfort. The room had 2 TV's, good wifi, fridge, micro, most of all the kids loved the heated pool and spa. Keep up the good job Econo Lodge we really appreciated your hospitality.

This is a good hotel. The reason is the Manager makes sure everything runs very smooth. The rooms are clean, guiet and big. I wanted a different room and the manager went to a lot of trouble to moved his schedule around to make me happy. If you stay here, you will most likly enjoy it. Thanks Joe

We just stayed at the Econo Lodge Southeast in Clackamas/Milwaukie for a two week period. I would have to say that this has been one of the best places we have stayed at by far while working in Portland Oregon! The room was great for the price we paid, all the amenities were included that a business traveler would need for about $40 a day. We are sure to return in January when we are back in the area for work...Great Weekly Rates!!!!

This motel is very nice for the price. You get the best deal on line of course or if you call the 800 number. It's a family run business and by all appearances it's pretty clean. I would be on my house keeping staff a little more . Why let the house staff bring your rating down even a little if you didnt have to? We'll be back again though.

We loved the value and cleanliness of the Econo Lodge Southeast Portland. We were in the area attending a event at the Milwaukie Elks Lodge for Veterans Day. We are sure to return next year due to this hotel only being 6 miles from Downtown Portland and mins from Oregon City!

Family run business and very friendly. Building was in good condition and the room was extremely clean. As a bonus, there were a fridge and 2 micowaves, all for about $50. Continental breakfast was okay and it was far from downtown portland. Its along a main road, so traffic might be bothersome. The room however stays quite quiet. But if you are on a budget, I would def stay here - spacious clean rooms, dish sink, microwaves & fridge can also help keep your eating costs down.

We recently stayed at the Econolodge Milwaukie, during our bowling tournament. We found this hotel to be close to were we had to be and very comfortable. The rooms were very nice and the property staff was great to work with. We never felt like we had left home and it seemed like we were staying at a bed & breakfast, rather than a hotel. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling for business or pleasure.

I never even made it to the hotel for our vacation. About an hour from Portland, my family had to turn around and head to the ER. I called the desk clerk and explained that I wasn't going to be able to keep my reservation and why. He started screaming at me that I will have to pay for my reservation regardless because I didn't cancel within 24 hours of my reservation time. Which was true, unfortunately. Here's why I will never reserve a room at this hotel again: All 3 times I contacted the hotel by phone, I was screamed at, and was treated extremely rude. I cannot tell others where to stay or where not to stay, but I just wished to forewarn other guests that the management at this particular Econo Lodge care NOTHING about you. All they want is your money. Be safe and happy regardless of where you stay!
