Home Away From Home
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/10/10
My Mother was a cancer patient at Midwestern Regional. We came to the Sandpiper for the first time in January, 2004, and stayed nine weeks for she took treatments. No one could have asked for a better place to stay. They were so kind to us, and there were other patients and their
familes there too. We just all seemed to take care of each other. The staff of the Sandpiper could not have been any better to us, they always tried to make it better for us. It is hard to go thru what these cancer patients go thru and being away from home is hard but it was like being at home. My Mother always looked forward to going back and seeing
everyone there, she made lots of friends while we were there. My Mother
passed away on March 14, 2005 and I have not been back but I will
never forget their kindness. Thank you employees of the Sandpiper
and May God richly bless each and every one of you for all you do
to help all the cancer patients and their families. I am writing this review
in loving memory of my Mother, Ruth Fowler. I love her and miss her so much.
