Bridgeport Inn Prairie Du Chie, Prairie du Chien

Despite having reserved rooms on my credit card and checked numerous times up to 10:00 the evening to verify that the room was still reserved (my wife and I for two evenings and one additional room for my In-Laws the 2nd evening), the staff at the Bridgeport gave away a room on the busiest weekend of the year. My In-Laws drove to Prairie du Chien from Chicago – there were no rooms within 100 miles – forcing them to drive nearly to Milwaukee for lodging. The manager/owner was un-apologetic and offered nothing but a comment to his clerk that if my 70 year old father in law became abusive, to call the police. I travel often for my job in sales, and have never experienced such horrific customer service. I will never stay at the Bridgeport Inn.
