Total nightmare. Avoid at all costs.

When I first arrived at the location, no one was even in the office. I rung the bell and waited about 5 minutes before any one showed up. At check-in, the woman said she didn't have any reservations that day and told me I must be booked at a different hotel. I read her my confirmation information and she then told me, "oh, I didn't know what day it was." Then she handed me a stack of printed reservations and asked me which one was mine. I had to sort through a pile of other people's reservations... I don't understand why she didn't do this especially since the reservations contain sensitive information such as contact name, phone number, address and credit card info. She then asked if I needed a single or double. I told her that I just wanted what I reserved online which was 1 room with 1 queen size bed for $40. She then told me it would be $5 more. I asked her if the price was wrong on the website and she said, "nevermind. It's $5 more but you can just have it," and gave me the key. When I got to the room, it had 2 double beds. Not wanting to go back and try to sort it out, I decided just to stay in that room and hope my contact with her was limited for the rest of the trip.
After spending the remainder of the afternoon and evening hiking in Joshua Tree, I was exhausted and went back to my room. I slept fairly well but woke up to knocking around 7:15 AM and someone trying to enter the room. I got out of bed to see what the problem was but no one was there. I tried to go back to sleep but then got woken up again at 7:50 AM to knocking and a man saying, "housekeeping." Then I heard the woman from check-in the prior day yelling, "I ALREADY KNOCKED ON THAT DOOR!".
I then got in the shower and as I was getting out, I found a lot of long hair in all of the towels which didn't surprise me one bit after all of the problems I had been having. As I was getting dressed and getting ready to check out, there was a third set of knocks on the door. I opened it promptly and said, "this is the third time you've knocked. Check out is at 11 AM, please come back after that." The woman from check-in then snapped at me saying, "you have no car! That is your problem! No car out front of your room!"... My car was parked at the end of the parking lot because all of the spots were full when I returned from Joshua Tree. The spots are not numbered for the room so I'm unsure how it was my fault that the parking spot in front of the room was taken.
If this place is ever free and you don't want to sleep or enjoy yourself, then you should stay here. Otherwise, avoid it at all costs and save yourself from the nightmare I experienced.
