Stay in History

For anyone visiting Taos, the La Dona Luz Inn is THE place to stay. You'll get the feel of old Taos...not only is the building historic but the rooms are decorated with authentic artifacts and original artwork which really make them cozy. The owner Paco, and his family, are actually a part of Taos history...and they're real friendly.
The B&B is the closest I know of to the historic Taos Plaza, in the heart of Taos. Leave your car behind...so much is conveniently within walking distance.
Talk about a view. I could lie in bed and look out the window at Taos Mountain to the north. Mornings lit the mountains to the east, again viewable from my room. One room even has a private hot tub on the roof.
