Tarpon Shores Inn, Tarpon Springs

Low cost but decent. . We're locals and use it for overflow company. . Get a back room off the highway and it's quiet. . NOT on the beach but is centrally located and good if your visiting local sights or for the nite. . Others 2x the $ but not 2x nicer. . Try it really.

I was in Tarpon and stopped by this motel to ask for price. I was told rooms were $52.00 with AAA discount. When I went back an hour later to reserve the room there was an older gentleman there and he told me the rate was higher. I told him what I had been quoted before and he seemed a little confused but was firm on the rate. We stayed anyway and our room was smelly, carpet was dirty, all drink machines were empty and the motel itself is in dire need of being updated. I will never stay there again and do not recommend it. The next day we went a little further south to the Red Roof Inn and spent 5 days there and it was wonderful.

We paid $100 a night for an efficency. The 1st room was filthy, had to wait till next day to be switched. Next room was cleaner, but then found out the air conditioner was broken! Fixed it but we had to wait till next day. Did you ever see a motel that has a coffee pot in room, you know how they give you free sample packs of coffee? No..BYOB Have you EVER stayed in a hotel/Motel that did not have a clock?? Not this one! BYOB. I know some but not all hotels have a hair dryer, but of course not this one! BYOB. The vending machine for snacks very low on choices, and they were stale, so better BYOB!!! They advertise free wireless internet service, well we never got it until we were there for 3 and 1/2 days! To top it all off, since there was no clock in room, we had to ask for a wake up call to get back to airport..do you think we got one??? Nope..but you can't BYOB a phone call! If you stay in a room in front, located facing Hwy 19, it is Very noisy. To say the least, we were very dissatified. Will never stay there again, would not reccomend this place.

we have gone to this inn many times over the years, and have always found it a relaxing, fun experience. the staff is so nice-they help with directions to different places. the hot tub is wonderful. i wish we could live there!

we were at tarpon shores inn for 2 week in march 08, and we realy enjoy the place we had a chance to talk to the owner nice guy. we met a few people on our stay there and the staff is very friendly. not far from howard park and sponge dock. walking distance from grocerie store not to far from good beaches would recomend the place.

We have been to Tarpon Shores Inn many times over a 6 yr. period and have always found our room clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pool and grounds are well maintained. This is not a "fancy" motel but it ranks high on our "will always go back" list. The prices are very reasonable too. It only takes about 5 minutes to get to the Sponge Docks.

had a very nice visit, very clean got to know some local people in area. really safe nice fun place. wife and I have stayed there three times in past year.check on weekly rates with kitchen.You will be shocked.......We liked it so much we are buying home by tarpon shores area.

I stayed there last year in April and it was a nice hotel. It was more like a Bed and Breakfast feel without the Breakfast.

FAMILY MEMBERS LIVE IN TARPON SPRINGS, THIS IS AN IDEAL GETAWAY FOR OUR FAMILY. THE OWNERS AND STAFF ARE GREAT, THE ROOMS ARE VERY CLEAN AND FOR THE LOCATION AND PRICE THIS PLACE CANNOT BE BEAT. BUT DON'T TELL TOOOO MANY PEOPLE.
