The Motor Lodge was built circa 1910 in the original territorial capital town of Prescott, Arizona. The photos used here are very outdated, and represents what the motel looked like previous to the new owners transformation. Go to Tripadvisor for accurate pictures and reviews. It's a great place to stay, and this does it no justice.

Great place to stay at a great price!

We stayed at The Motor Lodge for the 4th of July weekend and had a fantastic time. We were greeted with a cold beer and escorted to our cabin by the owners. The staff was very accomodating with great suggestions for things to do. The place is very hip and was just what we were looking for. We will make it our Prescott lodging choice from now on.

The only place to stay in Prescott!

This darling motel has new ownership and everything is completely remodeled and retro! Don't be fooled by that old picture in their listing - it's totally hip now and each room is decorated differently. The beds are SO comfy, some rooms have fireplaces, and it's only a couple blocks' walk from downtown. The owners are DARLING and make you feel right at home. They'll even give you a ride anywhere in town in their antique orange pickup! We're going back next month!!

Loved the place

It was very nice & quiet. Great place to just relax & hang out on the patio. Beautiful rooms & comfortabel beds. LOVED the old kitchen..& the rock fireplace.

We Love It Every Year!

We go to Prescott once a year and could stay at a downtown hotel free, but we love this place. It's close to downtown but doesn't feel like it. Like many Prescott lodgings it has a quirky charm, but with functioning air-conditioners and charming porches, and we really enjoy having a little kitchen. We travel a lot and this is the one place we always make sure we stay. In fact, I just made our yearly reservation.

home away from home

I really enjoyed my stay @ the Prescott Cottage Inn. I stayed with a large family group where we all had our own rooms but could still spend time together. They are like a bed and breakfast atomsphere with alot of privacy. It is close enough to the downtown area to walk but it is far enough away it is quite. There are alot of this you can do on a day trip from there such as Grand Canyon. The rooms were very clean and neat, the service was excellent. I would definetly recommend staying here.
