The rooms were very clean, orderly and quiet, very well stocked, staff friendly. Wi Fi worked after finding proper access for my laptop. I spent over 2 hours on the internet looking for a motel to stay in the Seattle area. Most of the reviews were bad, except for this one, including ones for a much higher price.From here it is easy to get to downtown seattle in 15-20 minutes. There is a fast food restaurant next door, and a denny's within a few blocks. I Highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay for a extemely reasonable price. It is equal to most that charge a lot more, don't let the 2 star rating deter you.
 
 
 
 
 
Great motel... come here and you won't go any where else.

I first didn't want to stay at the Val-U-Inn because I had never heard of the company, so we went to a Holiday Inn but had a budget of $70, so then we went to Comfort Inn across the street which also was over our budget and I decided on this motel becuase their price but I didn't know it'll be worth it so much. I got there and the lobby was great looking and the clerk offered me a cookie which tasted great. It was late and I had a budget but I still got a room. The furniture was old but I fell asleep right away because the matteress was great. Then I woke up and had waffles, cereal,an apple, and bagels all for free while I watched TV. I do have a RV and are planning to come back this summer and then when everything was as perfect as can be I found out they also had RV/truck parking!!!

"Val-U" is right!

I spent 3 nights here. Check-in was a breeze. The female desk clerk was very accomodating and even gave me a fresh baked cookie! My room was tidy and I appreciated the 80-something channels on the TV. Not to mention the free wireless internet that was unexpected. The best part, by far, was the more than "continental breakfast". Also complimentary. The best I've seen in an economy motel. I am not in the area often, but if I return, there is no doubt that I will stay again. Thanks to the wonderful staff!
