worst of the worst
By jessica, 08/06/09
this was the ugliest place i have ever been. the rooms were dirty and filthy. and they charge more compare to their service. the front desk staff was rude and not friendly at all. i would not go to this place at all. although bandera has a very good choice of other motel so why would i go here.

do not stop here
By jean, 08/09/08
I booked a room there this summer. The building was rundown, bathroom was dirty and dingy. There was also a "smell about the room" which was very offensive. I was offered another room but all were the same. I got my money back and left. I would not recommend this to anyone. Drive back to Boerne or to Kerrvile. Don't stop here.

For the price of a room
By Tonya, 08/03/08
Spent two nights in this dirty run motel and told my husband next year we will be staying somewhere else. It's a great central location for motorcycle rders to hit the hills but really didn't see all that many motorcycles there for a great riding weekend. The do offer free coffee in the lobby but if you drink a normal size cup you are out of luck. Think these are 4 oz cups! Wore flip flops in the room because it was really dirty. Air conditioner was really cold and the Medina River is always a plus for this motel but other then that...find somewhere else to stay for $96 a night.

Too many other places around Bandera
By Chris Slovacek, 07/20/08
I'm staying here right now. I went to the desk to ask for a room. The choices were a King or two Queens. The inkeeper said he didn't have the Queens available but he did have two Fulls (the parking lot was certainly not full). Then, I asked if they had AAA rates (which there were stickers for all over the desk). He said yes, but not on the weekends!!!! There was a sign that stated "Free High Speed Internet Access in Every Room." When I got to the room, I found out that they didn't have WiFi. When I called about the cat5 cable, he said you had to provide your own. Then when I finally found a cable in my bag, the Internet didn't work. I tried multiple things which failed. I called the desk and he said, "All you have to do is plug it in and it will connect." I told him it didn't work and he eventually said he might need to reboot his network equipment - which did fix the problem. The place looks and feels old. The shower didn't look clean. I won't be back!

Won't get any better for Bandera
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/07/08
I've been to Bandera many time and this is the only place that I would consider staying at. Bandera is a VERY samll town and the limited other places to stay don't compare. Take a downstairs room (much nicer than upstairs) and you will be just fine.

The iscounted price of $52.00 is false according to the owner
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/18/07
Your Service Says one thing & the owner says something else. He charges $ 84.00 a night with only a 10% discount for a rather large group (17 couples). He also states he had nothing to do with the rate as shown by your service! He further states that he does not advertise on the internet!

Worst hotel that we've stayed in!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/13/07
We rented 4 rooms. All of them were dirty. Light fixtures full of dust. Mildew in bathrooms. Towels discolored and fraying. Wasps flying all around the doors. Worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. Extremely poor value at $92 a night (that included tax). Will never stay there again.

Terrible!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/18/07
Bathroom was awful...very old and dirty. Our friends' bathroom had massive stains on the ceiling and appeared to be full of mildew. The bathrooms were so bad that all four in our party chose to skip using the shower. The sheets and towels had stains. When we checked in they did not have the two rooms that I had confirmed by phone 2 days earlier. The front desk person said that there was an available king room on the second floor, but that we would not like it. I can't imagine how bad that room must be if it is worse than what we got! Location is okay. But at $96 per night (w/tax) this place is definitely not worth it!!!

A Place to Sleep
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/11/07
It's my choice of motels in Bandera, I've stayed there several times. The rooms are OK for a cheap motel, don't expect it be match a $100/night room. Expect the "non smoking" rooms to have been smoked in by the last tenants. I'm just looking for a cheap place to sleep.
