The staff was extremely rude, calling my little sister names and then calling me names when we were trying to resolve a simple problem. After calling the cops on us and having the cop tell him he could not kick us out because he didn't like us nothing was done about the man's behavior. It was probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.
This small hotel has been a wonderful experience for our familty on more than one occasion; noteworthy because of its terrific location and views of the ocean (the view rooms are worth requesting) The rooms are simple and not stuffed with New England bric-a-brac but the ones we stayed in are oversized and great for a family with kids. The staff has been delightful and efficient every time ... this is a friendly hotel in one of the friendliest New England towns you will ever visit
Great place to spend a summer afternoon or a stromy winter night!

We have been stopping bye Hampton Beach for the past several years. We love the Hampton House Hotel. The staff is exceptionally friendly, the rooms are clean, and the location is fabulous...best of all they just completed a renovation this year. It is the nicest hotel on Hampton Beach!
Visited this terrible place on July 19th, 2004 for the week of my birthday. Bathroom floors were not clean- bathtub very dirty & unfit for our 3.5 year old to take a tub. Bathroom exhaust fan not working, went to turn on litghts at night & the outlets did not work- couldn't charge camcorder batteries. balcony deck had seagull crap everywhere & exposed electrical wiring on the balcony.
