Avoid mansard rooms

Stayed Mar 07. Lovely location and hotel with good food and service BUT there are a number of rooms in the mansard (attic) , no fire escape and windows well above my head level. I am 5'10. In room we occupied, the furnishing was poor, the room was tiny and the carpet and the bed covering was torn. An eventual room change provided better accommodation. If booking I advise be specific that you do not want a mansard room,particularly if you are older or infirm Hecoba
