Doesn't believe in Refunds
I have never completed a review of a hotel, but after our recent visit to the Tahitian Inn Hotel Spa, I felt more compelled than ever to write one. The room itself was subpar. The room smelled, the shower curtain had mold on it and the carpet wasn't safe to walk on with the your barefeet. Please don't fall for the bogus pictures the INN shows. The pictures are of the spa portion of the INN. I arranged for my girlfriend to get a facial and a massage from the spa. Big mistake. I'm warning you all don't use the spa. My girlfriend ended up bleeding for 2 days b/c of the facial. Sounds great, right? Well it gets better. I wish I wouldn't have pre-paid for the $140 facial/massage, b/c the manager wasn't helpful at all, infact she didn't care. It took them 5 days to call us b/c apparently the manager has her own hours(strange, but nothing surprises me now about this place). When someone finally called it wasn't even the manager. I tried to get a refund for the awful facial my girlfriend received, but was told, "They don't believe in refunds". Then they proceeded to tell me it was my girlfriends fault she had a reaction to the oils & lotions and they did nothing wrong. Not sure, but the last time I checked your face doesn't bleed for 2 days b/c of oils & lotions. Maybe that's an indication of the type of products they are using? The individual that called said we should have said something that day. Well we did call(twice) and were told to talk to the manager, who of course sets her own hours and was unavailable and infact is still unavailable. Just so you understand how awful this experience was I have submitted a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. In summation, if you're looking to have an awful weekend then please by all means stay at this hotel.
