Not as bad as we thought it sounded..
By Jeralyn, 09/24/09
We are staying at the Days Inn from 9/22-9/26 2009. When we first arrived, it was not a far drive from the airport at all. If your looking for somewhere to stay just to sleep and that most of the time you are out most of the day, its actually okay. When I first read reviews, I thought it was gonna be completely gross and inconvenient but it was actually alright, not the nicest but good enough. We traveled from Hawaii based on our experience overall it was good.

Great bargain and the best wallfes we've ever had!
By P, 09/03/09
Shocked to read negative reviews as we were very pleased with our stay 8/28-30/09. Very courteous staff, Clean room, Queen bed, direct TV, internet acess for our laptops but also computer with printer in large living.dining area. What we enjoyed most was the waffle machine with cups filled with just enough batter to make your perfect waffle along with cerals, milk, juice, pastries etc and plenty of tables to enjoy your meal & visit. We stayed at Days Inn in Medford, Oregon and only got AM pastries with no eating area at all. Paid same price in Washington and got so much more. The location is great giving easy FWY access to Seatac Airport and no problem sleeping. Will return again, P. Pasadena, Ca

We won't be back!
By ivan, 06/22/09
Our family traveled for 6 hours to get to the seattle area! Only to be given poor directions from the night clerk - resulting in another hour driving around! The sign on the outside of the buidling wasn't lit - so it was difficult to see even from a block away. The night clerk wasn't helpful in our moments of crisis (We found my husband had forgotten his wallet at home with our travel money in it!!) The clerk wasn't helpful at all! Luckily I had 5 kids with me and borrowed all their money to pay for the first nights stay. The rooms are spacious - but very dated and questionably clean. Breakfast had no protein. We stayed only one of our two nights and headed elsewhere for our second night.

disappointing
By kc, 03/12/09
The establishment is run down, lacks custumer service. If you are going to provide airport shuttle to and from the airport a wait of one hour is too long when the travel time is 10minutes to and from the sight.

Staple of My Visit
By shonenknife, 09/30/08
This hotel was much more than we expected. For the price we paid and reviews we read we expected a dump, but it was a very nice stay. Breakfast was very good, and staff was very accommodating. My wife is pregnant and she got sick one night. I asked the receptionist if she knew where the closest hospital was and she pulled out a pre-printed mapquest map to the nearest hospital. I thought that was convenient, but later when I asked where the Wal-Mart was (on a whim), she gave me another set of pre-printed directions to the Wal-Mart for free! My wife and I have bad experiences of cleaning crews stealing from our room, but the cleaning lady did a very nice job cleaning while we were out without disturbing our possessions. We had a room on the other side of the hotel from I-5, so I can't speak of the noise (I sleep with the TV on anyways), but we couldn't hear the interstate at all with the door shut. When we return to Seattle, we will definitely look here first for our next room.

Worst motel I have ever stayed at.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/13/08
I was sent to Washington for Medical treatment thought the VA and this is where I was booked by the VA. There were no chairs in the room, it smelled of mice and was dirty. I found what appeared to be feces on one of the hand towels. I checked out and transfered to another Hotel.

Great Location!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/14/07
This hotel is in a great location! It is off the freeway, but the traffic noise didn't bother us at all. It is very close to the Tukwila train station- excellent for train rides to sporting events. We took in a Mariners game. It is also very close to a bus stop that takes you right downtown Seattle. We used public transportation for our entire vacation. Our children enjoyed the pool and the hot waffles are great. The room was clean, but the staff wasn't always friendly. We weren't given cups/glasses and coffee condiments one day. All in all, we would definitely stay again. It was good value for the money.

Worst hotel ever part 3
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/10/07
The business center exists of two outdated computers on a counter in the lobby, one of which has a scribbled "out of order" sign on it. The only nice things was the free do it yourself waffles for continental breakfast if you can stomach sitting in a small lobby with tons of other guests and eating on sticky table clothes. At least we had friendly neighbors in the room next door to ours, they partied, cussed, drank and smoke until around 4 am the first night we were there. It was a real pain in the arse actually to have to listen to that all night long through the thin walls. NOISE. If you stay here you are within 50 feet of nothing but truck stops and a convenience store. There are no grocery stores anywhere near this place and one Jack in the Box restaurant. The freeway is within spitting distance of the back side of the hotel. If a car went over the guard rail it would probably land in the pool you're so close to I-5. So yes the website is accurate you are within close distance to the freeway. This was the WORST hotel experience we have ever had and will NEVER stay at this place again. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else.
