No frill but real DSL!

This has the makings of a 3 and half star to 4 star small motel. You are across from a BART station ( El Cerrito Del Norte) that will cost about 7 bucks RT to get you to the city of San Francisco. Less for Oakland or Berkely. El Cerrito itself has many amenities as well. The Motel is in process of changing it's interiors, and clientel. A traveler who needs internet will love the DSL ( now that the phone line noise has been cancelled. ) Yet the in calls are not always transfer correctly, and must be handled by an 'operator', which is a family member of the owner. So no calls after 11p.m. and who knows what time of day they can hear the phone. If you page someone, I say go to the pay phone , in the commons of the complex.
To give some credit. I stayed in a king sized bed room, and it has a kitchenette (on 2nd stay, it did not on first, but the room for it was still usefull.) There is lots of new items,Mini Fridge , Microwave, and large T.V. Yet I am not sure where the advertized Jaccuzzi is, or the Satellite movies, as the cable link to the T.V. seems to only get (static filled ) local television. At least there is good local T.V., and multi-national too... D-W t.v. is based in Germany, there is a Spanish channel and Chinese. Bring an attenea, and a portable DVD player or game system, and that way you can get better picture, and have all the options you wish for other entertainment.
Cash Payers, there will be a 100.00 deposit, extra 10.00 for remote to tv, and 20.00 to make .50 per call local calls.
King bed for 1 is 55.00 , 2 is 60.00
Yet if they have no cars around, haggle. They may come down for you.
Cheers!
