A home away from home

My family and I recently stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn in New Rochelle, New York in Westchester in June 2005 to attend my sister's college graduation and I have to say that it was definitely a home away from home. My likes were many from the comfortable stay to the friendly reception and courteous staff. Also, the delicious complementary breakfast was the icing on the cake. My family and I were also astounded as to the many attractions surrounding the hotel such as fine restaurants, movie theaters, shopping mall, various stores, banks and a short walk to bus and train stations. We definitely will be visiting next year! Viva New Rochelle, Westchester County.

If They Don't have a Room - I push back my travel until they do.

When Marriott messed up my reservation here, the desk placed me on the top floor in a two bedroom suite the size of a good size apartment. Other than the benefit of the staff, I could swear I was at home. Lots of room and very clean. Beautiful at Christmas time in the snow. I felt like I was in the middle of "It's a Wonderful Life" during my stay here. When I returned two years later, the desk clerk remembered me! Small town America just north of New York City.
