Family Motor Inn, Sullivan

Unfortunately we were forced to stay here while traveling the Labor Day weekend and no other vacancies to be found for many miles. The room stunk, the walls were filthy, the carpet was ripped and dirty. Both the smoke detectors were non working. The holes in the ceiling were stuffed with paper. The towels looked unwashed and very stained. There was a hair on my pillow (not mine)! The remote for the tv didn't work. Never again would I stay here. If you are in a pinch like we were, hold your eyelids open with toothpicks and drive the extra miles to the next motel/hotel. I can't even use the saying "you get what you pay for" since we stayed in Lebanon, MO at the Travelers Inn and paid the same amount and had an extremely clean room with many extra free amenities!!!

If you are an American and love America do nt stay at the family motor inn. It is ran by non Americans that say no penny, penny not American Money. They also belive in saying praze be to drugs in room. prase be to fucking the american out of paper money, prase be to durt, And most of all prase be to durty rooms

i paid for a smoking room ,i had to be at a meeting and when i got back to this place the room was filthy,bugs on the walls ,and in bathroom ,the wall had holes in it.it was all the way around in the back of the place .so i went to get a refund .and they don't give refunds ,it just so happenes that they had some flyers over that notice on the counter.i would not tell anyone to stay there. the guy that runs the place can't speak english.and try's to run your personal life.BAYMONT IS A WHOLE LOT BETTER .THATS WHERE I WENT AND STAYED.NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER GO BACK THERE.

i spent a night with my girl up there and the beds were the best in the world. The service was awesome. They deliver liquor and beer at no cost. The family serves nice food to everybody (homeless/crackhead). I highly recommend this place to all my homies who are having a hard time in this bad economy. I knows its hard out here for a pimp when he is trying to get the money for the rent...with the Cadillac and the gas money spend there is a whole lot a bitches jumpin ship

The proptry is durty, the rooms are not clean at all. Spirders are in the rooms. this place should be ran by an american and not by people that belive that high prices and durty proptry and rooms are the common thing for american people to live in. SPEND YOUR MONEY AT AN AMERICAN RAN HOTEL/MOTEL

I can't believe that customers just stopping in for a night would know that its under new management. I think management are leaving the 5 star reviews

We had a terrible experience. For a continental Breakfast they laid out 2 dry doughnuts and a pot of lousy coffee. There was a brown recluse spider in our shower and they offered us bug spray. There was a giant patch of plaster missing from our ceiling, and it proceeded to leak. The beds were filthy, eventhough the sheets were clean. But the matresses themselves were streaked with brown. There was shower scum all over the shower walls. The tile in the bathroom was falling off. The price was higher when I got there vs what they quoted me when I made my reservation. We never got our room cleaned, so had to go to the front desk and get our own towels! The vending machines were empty. There are folks that live in this motel, and sit out front with their doors and windows wide open - very trashy people might I add. The pool was full of green slime ... hasn't seen a cleaning in years I'd say. Overall, this is the worst motel I have ever stayed in. Very disappointed.

I love these place. Firednly and efficient management, clean rooms, out standing service. Location and ambiece is perfect for Mermac vacation. I recommend this place over any other for that 2 days getaway from Chicago.

This place is a great place to stay! First of all i dont agree with the other reviews because that sounds totally different than how the place actually is. The rooms are very clean and I got service everyday that I was there. Also the price was a very good deal. The room had cable which is a wonderful thing to me!!! Its a great place to bring your family to.
