Ephrata Inn Motel, Ephrata

Rooms are clean, good sized, one review said they had porn. We stay there at least 2 to 3 times a year... There is No porn on their tv's, somebody in town from one of the other motels must have written that review. They are lies. The bed's are fine. I was told they had bedbugs, now that did come from another motel in town and that is not true. My only complaint is the owner kept asking this last time if we were going to the concert at the Gorge, we told him no and that time the room rates were way way to high.

A lady with whom I was traveling with had to change rooms after the first night because the bed was so hard and uncomfortable, unable to sleep at all. When she changed rooms the owner/manger insisted on going into the room with her (all the while his eyes were all over her) which made her feel highly uncomfortable and she found it very disrespectful. He later asked this lady inappropriate questions about what she was wearing and why! This was none of his business whatsoever! It took 5 hours to heat an already frigid room. The heater worked sporadically and the bathroom was extremely cold all of the time. The cleanliness of the rooms needed a lot of improvement. Lastly half of the channels on the TV were x-rated, leaving little choice of channels. We are both Christians and did not appreciate this onslaught of pornography on the television. This lady felt the behavior of management was very inappropriate and very unprofessional. I do not, nor does she recommend this motel for any reason - travel, work, leisure or other. The manager's wife however was very nice and helpful. I can only hope that she is aware of his lecherous behavior regarding female guests. Bad wi-fi reception was also a problem.

I was impressed with the size of the room. It was clean, well located and reasonably priced. Management allowed our small dog. I intend to stay there again on my next trip to Soap Lake.
