Polk James K Motel, Columbia

I stayed here back in 2005 and it was decent, but its now a rent by the week,day or month place and it is terrible. My no smoking room could not have had less than 50 cartons of cigarets smoked in it, burns on the rugs, furniture sink and even in the nasty tub ans stunk of smoke. TV was from 1985 and picture was green on top half and purple on bottom. Nasty stained carpet of any place i EVER stayed. It was cheap, 45.00 with tax, but it wasn't worth 10.95. If your a meth head or crack user this place might be soot you. i would never take a woman or my family here. There is no rating low enough to rate this place, and for anyone who thinks im over doing it. I welcome you to check in and enjoy!

I like the fact that it is close to stores and food, its quiet, and I requested an end room and was given one with no one on either side which was just as I wanted... Room 23 was clean and will be remembered for the quality of time I spent there with *SOS*

Large rooms, great value, older but well maintained and close to the center of town. I was pleased when I stayed here and I have no desire to search for a room elsewhere.
