A decent place.

We went there for lunch today at 1pm, telling the hostess this was our first visit. The hostess seated us in a cozy booth in a room where all the booths had horse names. (We learned later there are 2 banquet rooms, 2 dining rooms of booths, and an open dining room; along with a short bar and an adjacent liquor store and deli counter.) Although there were quite a few cars in the parking lot, the room we ate in didn't seem crowded.
The waitress was very kind, and came by several times during our lunch to see how we were doing. The food was decent: we had the fish and chips, and an oyster sandwich. We tried the Granny's Surprise for dessert, and liked it.
This will be a "return to" place for us.
