Disappointed

The staff was wonderful, however the beds are very old, the room was freezing because the heater didn't work well, there was a old, weird smell to the room and I was upset that this hotel was mostly people who lived there while working in the area. So we felt out of place there. Again the staff was wonderful, helpful and very informative about the area. I wouldn't stay there again.

credit card rip off

We booked thru Expedia for 59$ but when we got our statement we were charged $79. Don't know where all the extra came from. The motel was old and had an ammonia smell when we entered the room.

Pleasant place to stay

The owners were friendly and helpful. They recommended a great local restaurant and were quick to help with an internet issue. The owner was constantly at work maintaining the grounds. The room was clean and very satisfactory. Would recommend.

a nice hotel for the price clean room freindly staff continental breakfast could use a little improvement such as sweet roles or muffins and decaffe coffee overall a nice place to stay

Great in every respect!!

Offered great value and a convenient location. Room was comfortable, and clean. Owner and staff were professional, courteous, and friendly. Excellent starting point to tour historic Bardstown and all it has to offer.

Cheap, but Worth It

We had a coupon to stay here for $40, we thought it had to be a dump. We were pleasantly surprised, nice staff, wireless access, ice machine, coffee maker in roof, even a fridge and TV (with cable) It is right across from the Old Kentucky Home state park, so in a pretty good location. Really, for $40, you can't go wrong.
