The office staff was very friendly and informative. The room was adaquate and clean and having a small fridge and microwave was convenient and breakfast and latte's in the morning was a treat. We had our Jack Russell with us and the extra cost of $5/night was a bargain. While searching for a motel we were quoted anywhere from $15-$25/night for pets. For the money, it served our purpose for the 2 nights we needed to be there. Would we stay at the Vagabond Inn again?? Absolutely!

This motel has a great staff. They are always ready to accomodate you for anything you need. Their rooms are always clean and comfortable. The breakfast is a plus in the mornings.

management is obscene, rude and unhelpful. hotel is dirty... my sink drain wasclogged and the shower walls had hair and mildew . the room next to mine actually had vagrants climbing in and out of the window. do yourself a favor and AVOID THE VAGABOND INN!!!

I was in town for a dog show and as an owner of giant breeds, it is next to impossible to find hotels that allow the larger dogs. I was a little nervous by the other reviews stating rude staff, but everyone was very friendly!! No problems! Room was clean and no noise. As a side note, I did notice quite a few dog owners who were staying there NOT picking up after their DOGS!!!! Please be a responsible owner and don't make it any more difficult to find lodgings that allow our fur kids and pick up after your pet!!!

We would never go back! The frond desk is horrible rude and unhelpful! Customer service is horrible overall! Stay was much to noisy.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the fairgrounds and the interstate. The rude desk clerk also tried to charge us more than the rate we were quoted when we made the reservation online. In our case, we were unable to convince them to give us the proper rate - we found out that because of the big event at the fairgrounds, all the hotels had raised their rates (almost double) for walk-ins. They obviously didn't care if they lost a customer paying $55 if the next customer was willing to pay $100 for the same room. We were going to take the room anyway because we were worried that we wouldn't be able to find another. However, when we got to our room we were overcome by the smell of marijuana smoke wafting out of a nearby room and were very nervous about the shifty characters hanging around the hotel. Inside, we found the carpet the be sticky all over, and the room itself was very smelly and not well cleaned. We decided at that point to move on and found another hotel a few miles away. The neighborhood was still a little questionable, but at least the clerks we courteous and helpful and the room was clean. I gave the hotel a location score of 3 because it isn't in a good neighborhood, but it is located near the freeway and major landmarks.

I made my reservation over the internet. The hotel was fine, but it's website advertises complimentary shuttle to the airport. It does not have a shuttle and I had a 6:10 am flight. The cab ride was $25, so negated the great deal. Next time, I will call on the phone to confirm shuttle availability.
