Room smelled bad
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/22/08
I knew as soon as I opened the door and smelled air freshner it was going to be a rough night. House keeping was covering up the bad job they did and I was going to pay for it. Being to tired to do anything about it I just went to bed. Within 2 minutes time my wife rolls over and says " Do you smell that? " The comforter stunk of B.O. The rest of the night I slept under a sheet and being winter I froze all night. This place gets a big thumbs down ! Not so much for the smelly room as for the fact a nice hotel would allow this to happen. I did not complain to the management because mistakes happen or perhaps it's just incompetence. Either way I won't be going back.

Not worth it, way overpriced.
By Mr."X", 04/18/08
Hotel was average and room was typical nothing fancy. Hotel rates are way overpriced for what you get, not competitive with other hotels in the area.

The place to stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/14/06
The Hampton Inn is the best place to stay in the Clarksburg-Bridgeport area. The rooms and facilities all feel very new and clean. More expensive than other places in the area, but still a great value.
