Excellent experience. I recommend it highly.
By ,
My family and I were in town to visit Cedar Point. We stayed three nights and they were all excellent. I travel lot for my job and I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. This is most definitely to good. There rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. The hot breakfast was very good. Not a single complaint from anyone in my family. I have stayed in a lot of Comfort Inns while on the road and this is one of the best

I'm warning you, STAY AWAY!
By ,
The pics looked great, the price was higher than some neighboring hotels so I figured it would be good, not to mention that it is a choice hotel as well! The outside was great, it's when we walked into our room that's when we realized this wasn't a good plave to stay. Opening the door you smell a STRONG smell of Lysol mixed with pine-sol odor like they were trying to cover up smells of the room, there were stains on the carpet, stains on the lampshade and the 2 lampshades in between our double beds had dust that made it look like grey instead of white. I could barely sleep due to the noise of the late nightclub (that's inside the motel) patrons that were coming back into their room, all night I heard people in the halls and slamming their doors. The next morning we went down to the free continental breakfast, between the people coughing and sneezing I could barely keep my food down. I went back to the room and told my family to basically hurry up were leaving. As I was packing my clothes I had thrown my pair of jeans on the ground the night before (mistake) and as I was folding them they felt damp like not wet just heavy, it's hard to explain just what I felt, but I will tell you this I did not use the top comforter, their pillows or never let my feet touch the floor without shoes. Believe all the negitive comments, we don't make this stuff up!

Not the best by far.
By ,
I've been in many hotels, but this one wasn't all that great. There were people of all ages running up and down the hall, talking loudly into their cell phones while we were trying to sleep. The "hot tub", if you want to call it that, was actually not much warmer than the pool. The area around the pool and "hot tub" was very slippery. In the 15 minutes we were there, two people fell. Our room was a handicapped accessible room, and the bathroom floor was filthy! I wore my flip-flops the entire time. The carpeting in the room felt and looked dirty. I was afraid to examine anything else up close. The pool was supposed to only be open until 10:00 I believe, and it was open way later. Upon checkout, we informed the clerk that it would have been nice if the pool closed at a certain hour, and they insisted that it was. After another couple checking out also said that it wasn't, they then apologized, but didn't seem to really care. The bed was very nice as were the pillows. The clock in the room was possessed, so we unplugged it and set our own cell phone alarm. The hotel was only about 4 miles from Cedar Point. Besides the bed and the convenience to Cedar Point, that was about the nicest things I could say about this hotel. The free continential breakfast was ok, but no fruit whatsoever. They need to worry less about the statues in the lobby area and concentrate on cleaning the rooms better. The room also smelled very musty. I would highly not recommend this hotel, and it was certainly not worth the money to stay there.

not a very nice place to stay.by mike
By ,
the beds are very hard to sleep in and to small not enough towels no fridge and mic to heat food or keep things cold have to put things outside of window to keep cold and when you ask for a rollaway bed they dont give it to you have to wait till the next day to get the bed and the bar you have to wait for 10 mins to get a drink and then dont even get service and the pool had so much colrine that it bruned everyones eyes and at breakfest to get milk it took to long to pour out and need more chairs in the breakfeast room to sit.

Don't get a room here!!
The room was very small and uncomfortable, the hotel was not very clean, some of the staff members were very rude about getting coffee in the morning, the restaurant was rediculous...Bace Night Club...it was supposed to be an italian restaurant and a night club mixed. They had good food but the atmosphere was horrible; very loud and annoying music while you ate dinner and way overpriced. Good location but I will never stay here again!

NO!NO!NO! Don't stay here
By ,
We booked this hotel for one of our employees and her two daughters to stay after a day at Cedar Point. She said lobby was very pretty and nice, however, after leaving the lobby it was very unkept and poor housekeeping. I was very disappointed as we wanted this to be a SPECIAL time for them.

Will not be back
By ,
This hotel is centrally located and the service staff were very helpful and friendly. BUT the hotel room itself was not as clean as I think it should be and there was a smell in the room. A musty, damp smell that I never figured out where it actually was coming from (Rm 202). As a person with allergies, I suffered most of the night. Also my family swam in the pools, but not for long! They said (I didn't swim) that there was a ton of grit on the bottom of the pools. Sand? Don't know, but didn't stay in very long to find out! We wouldv'e (and tried) to find another hotel room, but the hotels were booked for that evening. Also, there were no towels in the room?!? What is up with that. They said that they wwere washing them, but is the room ready to be inhabited if it isn't stocked with everything? I don't think so....

not so nice
By ,
Upon arrival at 3pm we had to wait for the room to be "cleaned." Carpet in room turned socks black on bottoms from dirt. Bed spread had burn holes in it. The in room safe was broken, two of the five lamps did not even have light bulbs. The towels were old and dingy. The sauna in the pool area made a aweful buzz/ringing sound when turned on and the plastic around the heater was melted down. The breakfast area was overly crowded and the chair for the computer was wet-assuming someone from the pool area sat there? The one thing I liked about the hotel was the Tiki bar and bartender, prices were fair and she was pleasant.

Good times...
By ,
At a recent stay at the comfort inn in sandusky, i was quite surprised of the friendliness of the staff! It was a very busy week at the hotel and yet the staff seemed on top of their game! Very nice Tiki bar with an outdoor pool that is open til midnight. Pool bar open 'til 2am! And yes they check id's. Reasonable prices at the bar. I paid 4.25 for a frozen drink. Rooms were very clean and housekeeping had the room back in order in a matter of minutes!
