Not the best by far.
I've been in many hotels, but this one wasn't all that great. There were people of all ages running up and down the hall, talking loudly into their cell phones while we were trying to sleep. The "hot tub", if you want to call it that, was actually not much warmer than the pool. The area around the pool and "hot tub" was very slippery. In the 15 minutes we were there, two people fell.
Our room was a handicapped accessible room, and the bathroom floor was filthy! I wore my flip-flops the entire time. The carpeting in the room felt and looked dirty. I was afraid to examine anything else up close. The pool was supposed to only be open until 10:00 I believe, and it was open way later. Upon checkout, we informed the clerk that it would have been nice if the pool closed at a certain hour, and they insisted that it was. After another couple checking out also said that it wasn't, they then apologized, but didn't seem to really care.
The bed was very nice as were the pillows. The clock in the room was possessed, so we unplugged it and set our own cell phone alarm. The hotel was only about 4 miles from Cedar Point. Besides the bed and the convenience to Cedar Point, that was about the nicest things I could say about this hotel. The free continential breakfast was ok, but no fruit whatsoever.
They need to worry less about the statues in the lobby area and concentrate on cleaning the rooms better. The room also smelled very musty. I would highly not recommend this hotel, and it was certainly not worth the money to stay there.
