Havasu Dunes Resort, Lake Havasu City

We have been going to Havasu Dunes for about 15 years. We come back every year because the staff is friendly and helpful and the place is quiet. I recommend getting the two-bedroom units. The one bedroom units are small, but the two bedroom units are nice. There are three pools. Each has a nice hot tub. We like to barbecue next to the pool and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. We like meeting the other guests at ice-cream night.

This resort is very well kept and the location is good. You have easy access to all the local hot spots, and yet are far enough away to enjoy your peace and quiet. The pools/hot tubs areas are very well taken care of and landscaped. Yes, we will stay here again.!!

All employees had a smile and said hi to us while we were there, such nice and caring staff! The Resort was clean and beautiful, the 3 pools were cleaned every day and the big BBQs they have in the pool areas are GREAT! Loved the movies they showed in the Owners Lounge for all the guests! Where else can you go and have a fully stocked kitchen and OVEN in your room! We loved it, all the comforts of home with a great vacation feel! We will be back next year and will tell our friends about your WONDERFUL RESORT!

We didn't just drive from CA or NV, we flew from MI. We planned this vaction for months! We were told a lake view would be available upon our arrival and it wasn't. Our first night the air conditioning went out. We had to move to another spot the next day, only 2 doors down, but a pain to move groceries and 4 people. It took time out of our "fun." No upgrade, no refund, nothing a really good resort would accomodate you with. We have to go back in Sept and they never even offerred a discount for our next stay. There won't be a next stay. The pool and hot tub were filthy and when we asked for it to be clean, they never did. We had to walk to the other two facilities to use theirs. Don't let them fool you with the only 2-3 pics they have of the place. There is a reason for it.

The staff and service were excellent. You ask for something and it is done promptly and with a smile.Swimming pool and hot tub areas were always clean and tidy, security was very good. Thanks for a great time

BEEN COMING HERE FOR AT LEAST 10 YEARS!!! WON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE. READ SOME OTHER REVIEW THAT YOU CAN'T PARK TOYS ONSITE, SORRY IT SAYS IT ON THE WEBSITE!! NO ONSITE PARKING!!! THEY HAVEN'T HAD ONSITE PARKING IN THE LAST FEW YEARS. THE STAFF IS FABULOUS!!! I'VE SHOWN UP AT EVERY TIME OF THE DAY OR NITE AND ALWAYS GET GREAT SERVICE. EVEN HAD TO CALL MAINTENANCE AT 3 IN THE MORNING CAUSE THERE WAS A SPIDER IN MY ROOM (NOT BIG, I'M JUST A BIG WIMP=-)) HE SHOWED UP (ALBEIT LAUGHING ALOT) BUT SAVED THE DAY (OR SHOULD I SAY NITE!!) ALWAYS RECOMMED THIS RESORT TO ANYONE STAYING AT THE RIVER!!
