the cleanliness of hotel and staff what a great hotel nice stay the breakfast is the same as always

went there for the pool way to hot in the pool area kids couldnt even swim in there the maids knock on the door early it was 930 am we wanted to sleep in it was our vacation very dissapointed !!!!!

man at from desk had me on hold for a long while i called back and he told me call back in 10 min not much left to say about that !!!!!!!!!!!!!I never called back

I have only once previously spent a night at a Hampton Inn, but my experience at the Effingham Inn was so positive that I will go out my way to do so in the future. Here's why: 1) VERY prompt check in and check out 2) The bathroom area was well laid out with a separate room for the sink from the bathroom. Shower had clear explanation how to use. Room and bathroom were clean and well stocked with toiletries. Both the shower and sink drains worked well--This is very important to me and an area often overlooked by hotel staff. 3) Lighting was excellent both as to location and brightness. Some lights were on when we arrived late in the evening which provided welcome touch. 4) The breakfast buffet matched up well against competing hotel chains. In summary: Kudos to both the management and service staff for providing a top notch experience.
