It was a downer!!!

For the "best hotel in Port Angeles," this place fell short in several ways. When we got there, after an extended campy vacation, we were hoping to ease into civilization by reading up on email and catching up on business. BUT we couldn't get onto their wi-fi system and in the lobby, I couldn't get onto my email for more than once at a time every four or five times I attempted. When we entered the lobby, the front desk clerk mentioned that she hoped I wasn't dripping oil from my vehicle when in fact it was nothing more than air-con condensation. Their hot tub closed by ten, thus barring us from a late after-dinner soak. Breakfast was inflated for $200 a night fee; many establishments have allowed a free continental breakfast. Not having been informed of the golf course next door, when we climbed into the cool hottub the next morning, a ball smashed a lamp directly above the luke-warm hottub, ending our hopeful hot soak. It never did heat up while we were in there. We were glad to come home.
I have to say that their landscaper is a plant lover and fastidious groundskeeper. That part of their establishment was impeccable.
