Granbury Inn and Suites, Granbury

This hotel is nice for the price. It has large rooms that open to the pool area. The grounds are clean and the suites are well furnished with full size refrigerator. The thing that makes this a good place to stay is the family that runs it. They are nice, helpful, considerate and very personable. I stayed with them a month while my dad was in a medical facility there in Granbury. I totally would stay with them again.

We have stayed at Granbury Inn & Suites now regularly, averaging two to three weeks a year, for about 25 years. We have grown older … and so has the motel … but ALL of us gracefully. We love this motel. The owners and staff have always been friendly and accommodating. It’s near everything in Granbury. It has LARGE, clean, comfortable rooms. It has both wired and wireless Internet. You can park at your front door in most cases ... easier for unloading and loading. There is a large Kroger grocery store and four or five family style restaurants across the street. Another convenience, it’s right on the main highway, US 377, southwest of Fort Worth. All of those things are nice, BUT, what we like most is the large courtyard within the perimeter of the motel. There are trees and tables and grills … AND a nice big pool. My wife has even made the comment that she could LIVE in our room there at Granbury Inn & Suites ... waking up to look out the sliding glass doors at the "park like" view of the court and pool. What’s more to want … unless you talk about the rates? The rates are still among the lowest in Granbury. Since we have retired that has become more important. Social Security doesn't pay overtime. I have visited this inn several times over the past few years. It is a charming place. The rooms are large and very comfortable. I have always found my room to be be clean and sanitary. The owner/manager has a lovely family. I am always welcomed with a smile and given every accomodation that I request. I have saved the best for last, the garden pool. This garden pool is quite unique. While the inn is not a new, modern facility. It is quiet, comfortable, clean and staffed by caring individuals. I highly recommend Granbury Inn & Suites.

were in granbury for the night. needed a room. the hotel looked good from the street, looked nice and clean in office area. paid for our room and drove around to find our room. we first noticed that there were old chairs everywhere outside the rooms along with old mattresses leaned against the building. opened the door and room smelled old and dirty. but sure we could not get a refund on our money, we decided to stick it out for one night. at 11 pm we were awakened by loud talking and laughing. partiers kept us awake until 2:30 am. these days you never know what to do. we wanted to just leave but decided to stay locked up in our room. we saw roaches running around, the bathroom was dirty, towels were stained, and 1 chair was so stained we were afraid to sit on it. everything was old, but the problem was everything was dirty looking.
