Scandic Grand Place, Brussels

Good, basic hotel which was a great value for the points I spent on this 4-night stay. The breakfast buffet was good (esp. the bacon), the staff was most pleasant, the location was great (near the Central Station and a brisk 5-minute walk to the Grand Place (I'm a New York walker))... No significant complaints. There wasn't any shampoo in our bathroom - don't know if they overlooked this or if that's usually the case, but we had brought our own. Bed was reasonably comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. Oh, and for those of you who have and travel with a laptop, I saw mention of wi-fi access. We were told that the nearest internet access was in the de Brouckere station (north end of it near the fare gates). No hours posted at that place, though.
