it is what it is...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/11/09
I was coming back from vegas early in the morning and was fading. I figure I'll stop at Stateline and get a room and rest up. at seven in the morning they gave me an early check-in. for $34.99 plus tax it was a bargain. Room was spacious. Won a little money at the casino and bought a few things at the mall. Not the same action as Vegas, but still fit my needs.

The Fun Stops Here!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/09/09
We went on a "staycation" or "freecation" or whatever catchy, cutsie names a bankrupt establishment needs to lure in unsuspecting locals. Wife and I waited 1.5 hours to check in and get our "comps".The buffet was a feed trough with institutional mystery meat. Roach city in the rooms. The pool was 50 degrees and the jacuzzi 70 degrees with 12 kids and a real life child molester (who got kicked out by a family, not the lifeguards or security). The roller coaster got stuck at the top with screaming kids for 45 minutes who had to walk down the catwalk. The last night I was pickpocketed at the slots and the security guards refused to check the video tapes (even though I had a good idea who it was). Many of the slots didn't even work. Some of the staff "tries" but many are burn't out, tired, overworked, and better english is spoken in Tijuana. Fun Stop? More like the fun stops, and so does everything else because it's broken! Keep in mind that this place is owned by a company called "Terribles" and you won't be surprised by the ghetto resort ambiance. I just can't understand where are the 5 star folks from? You guys don't get out much do you?

The Vomit Buffet
By A Yahoo! User, 02/06/09
Like, I just want to say a word about the buffet at this rat's nest... BARF!!! We went to this hovel at noon and all these dimwits had for us to eat at the buffet was scrambled eggs, sausage, and some scraps of crap - hell, I don't even know what it was! I felt sorry for my boyfriend because he was trying to make the best of it, but we both couldn't wait to blow this freaking toilet bowl! And the motley collection of low-life people at this dump made my meal totally disgusting! Back to the "food". YUCK!!! I tell everybody I can how horrible this stinkhole was! I will NEVER go there again, not even to die!!! Excuse me now, I've got to go. Just the thought of that throw-up convention is making me puuuuukkkeee!!!!!!

Going Back a 3 rd time
By Linda, 09/22/08
We went in May of this year. Stayed at the Primm Valley. Room was very clean, food was great. Went Back in July with the whole family including grandkids. We stayed at Buffalo Bills this time. Room again was very clean and food good. We are going back at the end of Sept and will be staying at Primm Valley again. Great system 1 card earns points in all of their Casinos. Great comps!

Great time
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/03/08
My husband and I have been visiting Primm for a long time. I have found that mostly the people are friendly and helpful. We love the concerts and enjoy gambling at Buffalo Bill's. Would love to see some new slots though.

I love it, great low key vegas.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/04/07
My first visit was in May 2007 I was very surprised for the price that we paid, the rooms were large, service and food was very good. The shopping facility is great so convenient the casino is very spacious not as crazy as downtown Vegas or the strip. The rooms are showing it's age but I saw worst at Mesquite I would definitely choose Primm over Mesquite. I'm going back in November with my family and friends!

A Little Taste of Vegas
By Lady49er, 05/21/07
Primm is only about 40 minutes away from Vegas, so this is a great place to go when the prices in Vegas are ridiculous (which is every weekend). Rooms are generally 1/3 to 1/4 the cost of rooms at comparable Vegas properties. While you miss out on all the glitz and excitement that the Strip has to offer, you also miss out on the crowds, the traffic, and the higher prices. Of the three properties at Primm, the Primm Valley Resort is by far the most superior. The pool area is clean and accessible, and they don't kick you out at 5pm like they do in Vegas. The food is like old Vegas buffets; basic and affordable. The gambling runs the gamut from penny slots to almost high rollers, although the table limits are a little higher than I like. The rooms are nicely decorated and basically clean, although the hotel is starting to show its age with creaking floorboards and some grout in the bathroom that needs repair. It's nothing that a good scrubbing and a "to do" list wouldn't take care of, and it certainly does not compromise either health or safety. It is also directly adjacent to an outlet shopping mall, and there is a tram that will take you to the other properties if you'd like a change in atmosphere. The staff was responsive to our needs, although the toll free reservation person I had to speak with about a glitch in our booking (not Primm's fault) was very rude and actually yelled at me because I couldn't understand him because of his thick accent. This is a great place for people who just want a weekend away from it all and do a little gambling.

no golf in the golf package
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/06/07
We reserved a 3 day golf package @ Primm Valley Resort & Casino only to find out.. on our way to the airport... that no tee times were available due to a long scheduled tournament. No alternatives were offered by the resort (and no apologies either). Join us in permanently avoiding this place.
