Hotel in BAD need of repairs
The staff is awesome! Very helpful and sweet. The hotel however is in in bad bad need of repairs and overhauling! The room was gross with stained carpets in the hallway and room, our bedspread was ripped in several areas, the bathroom walls, around the edging needed to be recaulked and the stand that the t.v. was on needed to be thrown away. The breakfasts were good with plenty to choose from, such as waffles, hard boiled eggs, 2 kinds of cereal and skim milk, toast and danish and orange juice and apple juice and apples and oranges. It's apparent that the owner of this hotel sunk all his money into the Days Inn at the Dome where there is no smoking allowed, and this hotel continues to be a smoking hotel because of how run down it is. It is also in an industrial area of town, with railroad tracks less than 1/2 block away, that runs after 2:00 A.M. and lays on their whistle more than once! Would not consider stying here again unless total revamping is done!
