Let's be honest, the place is a lot cheaper than all other hotels in the area and is close to everything (shops, transportation, etc). I have been staying here for the past few years, as a poor college student and now a professional. They are clear about what is offered there and what is not. The rooms may seem a little outdated and dirty at times, but for the price and location, one might be able to look past all of that. When staff is there, they have always been helpful about cleaning the room if it is necessary.

The guest house has some problem about the cleanness. We found dirty and used bedlinens in our room. The service during the night (10 p.m.) is very poor

They are now charging $158 per night. The rate seems to depend on the dates you request to stay. The location very good.

The location, price, and staff were good. Just to visit a few days, was very happy with it. Was less than 1/2 the cost of hotels near it, but had a very good time.

Very helpful staff, excellent area, comfortable stay. Much better rates than area hotels. Will definitely stay again. An older historic building with nice amenities.

Clean, locally accessible to all of Back Bay, friendly staff, quaint and several hyndred dollars less than similar accommodations. No Room Service ? Who cares. Great value, nice people.
