Never Ever Again

I was so happy to visit Madrid, however from the moment i set my foot in the hotel i was treated with disrespect. Upon arrival, I wanted to check in however the hotel booked the wrong dates. I did not know that as i booked through Thomas Cook. Anyways, I gave them my name and they said they could not find my name in bookings for the day even tho I tried to explain and showed to them my booking references. They even didnt care to check in the system whether there was a mistake and dismissed me. It took me more than an hour to sort the issue after calling Thomas Cook, The funny part was that the receptionist didnot wanted to talk to the representative over the phone and was pretending that he did not speak good English. I suspect he got that they did a mistake.
Also I dont beleive that this is a 4 star hotel, if you say three than I will agree and I do travel a lot. The only good thing about the hotel is the location.
The troubles did not finish with the arrival. I paid for bed and breakfast but at check-out they required from me to pay the breakfast. I paid them and called Thomas Cook and they sent them the reference number again. However, the hotel did not to return the money until I dont know what reason they invented. I spend another 1.30 hrs at the reception and was on the verge to miss my flight. Thankfully, they returned the money after several hours. apart from that I found half of the stuff very rude.
Conclusion: Bad welcome, bad goodbye and total waste of time, money and nerves. Worst experience ever that manage to spoil the nice taste of Madrid. Don't do that mistake!
