Beware
By sharon, 04/28/08
The only good thing about this hotel is the location. First of all, they put us in the wrong room. Once in our correct room, there was a dirty washrag in the tub and cigarette ashes on bathroom floor and toilet seat. We were there over a weekend andthere was no maid service the entire weekend. The hotel has internet access but only in the lobby, not in the rooms. No hairdryer, no coffee pot in rooms as stated. Do not stay here, you will regret it as we did. I wish I had seen the previous review before my trip.

Absolutely Filthy!!! What a dump!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/20/06
My wife and I were taking the kids to Six Flags, and we stayed at the Days Inn the night before because of it's closeness to the park. What a mistake!!! THE SMELL: The smell of air freshener was overpowering...obviously a cover up for the cigarette smell, as we were in a non-smoking room that had obviously been smoked in. More on this in a bit. THE BEDS: The beds had no box spring, and were very hard! It reminded me of sleeping on the floor on a mattress in my college days. The only difference was that in college, I had a comfortable mattress. THE BEDSPREADS: The bedspreads were very old and dingy and appeared to be stained. We didn't check if the stains were new or old, as we stripped them off the beds and threw them in the corner as soon as we got to the room. THE FLOOR: The carpet was filthy! If it was vacuumed at all, they did a lousy job. Between the bedside table there were crumbs and...cigarette ashes, including one cigarette butt! Imagine our surprise, as we were in a non-smoking room! THE WALLS: The walls had crayon writing on them in several places and actually had garbage stains above the garbage can. We could actually see garbage stuck on the wall. We felt like throwing up just looking at it! THE FRIDGE: I was pretty surprised that the room even had a small refridgerator. However, the inside was very dirty, with soda stains and crumbs in it. Disgusting! THE BATHROOM: The sink and bathtub each had "burn marks" from cigarettes on them. When you flush the toilet, make sure someone isn't in the shower of they will get scalded! THE "CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST": Included some pretty bad coffee, about two slices of bread, and 4 donuts. We passed and went through McDonalds instead. OVERALL: It was too late to think about going to another motel, but I wouldn't stay at this Days Inn again even if they gave me the room for free. If you're looking to save a few books with a cheap room, do yourself a favor and spend the extra $20 to stay at another hotel, as there are many choices within 20 minutes of this dump! I only rated it as a "ONE STAR" because this site will not let me rate it as a "ZERO." If you read this and consider staying here, don't say you weren't warned!
