Our room had a terrible odor, smelled like a body odor that they had tried to cover up with air freshner with maybe mold. We considered checking out and going back home. We had to open the door to air out the room and then huge flies came in. The air was off when we got in the room, so room was hot and took a long time to cool off. Air conditioner had a sign that on it that you could not get it too cool in the room or it would freeze up not work at all. It is a good thing we brough a fan from home or we would have been very uncomfortable. Pool area was not clean, water standing around that looked like it had been there awhile. Breakfast tasted ok, but they are not set up for the amount of people they have staying there. A crockpot of food does not go for very long when you have a line of people out of the door. When I voiced my concerns to managment, they had a very "oh well" attitude, didn't even say sorry, just we'll pass your comments along. I would recommend staying in a name brand hotel in Branson. The Mom and Pop establishments that Branson used to be famous for need updating and a lesson in customer service.
