2009 update on service, staff, and value.

The Northfield Super 8 Motel continues to have the friendly, helpful staff; an excellent continental breakfast; and the clean rooms, lobby, and pool area that were noted as far back as 2005. The motel is an excellent example of the benefits of the classic "Family Ran" business. Everyone involved in the motel's operation from the men and women who cleaned the rooms to the owners who made decisions as well as changed light bulbs seemed to take great pride in its' well-being, presentation, and welcoming atmosphere. Since December 2008, I have stayed at the Northfield Super 8 on four separate occasions. Although other motels are closer to my destination, this "jewel" of a motel will continue to get my business.

Excellent value and service

I was there over Labor Day weekend when demand was high for hotel rooms. The place was busy but didn't feel that way. The location was about a mile from the center of town, but convenient with a car -- additional restaurants and shopping were close by. The continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise -- much more than what I would expect from a budget hotel.

Super 8 Northfield Minnesota

I liked This Super 8 for many reasons, First they give me a great price on my room-(I have a son attending St olaf colege & I am able to visit him more often due to the lower rate) They also had a wonderful breakfast, many healthy items to choose from. The service was also good the staff was very quick in getting me anything I needed.

the hotel is awesome very clean,very quiet,and would stay here over americinn because it is alot cheaper, the staff is also relly nice and caring

An Excelent Super 8

For a Super 8, this motel was classy, had very accomidating and helpful staff and beautiful rooms. If you are on a budget, this motel is an excelent value. It is cozy and clean, with a relaxing hot tuba and wonderful pool. I had a very pleasant stay.
