Enchanted Garden Hotel, Ocho Rios

I Stayed at "The Enchanted Garden" back in early 90s. It was beautiful, and it is the reason I fell in love with Jamaica. It is a shame this magnificant hotel is closed. The staff, the grounds, the rooms, everything was stunning. I have been back to Jamaica many time since, and I would stay at the Enchanted Garden if it ever makes it back to its once glorious state..

Best vacation my husband and I ever took - July 1995. Wanted to go back for our anniversary this year (2011), but sad to see they are closed. We had one of the cheap rooms - it was small, but suitable - I would upgrade next time. Food was excellent, the falls and the pools were beautiful and fun, the beach was nice (note to self: wear more sunscreen next time!), snorkeling was OK (better other places we've been, but good), staff was friendly and helpful. The bus ride from the airport seemed long, but the driver was lively and had interesting stories along the way - more like a tour guide.

We honeymooned here in Sept 94 and it was amazing - we had the 2 level 2 BR/2 Bath luxury suite w/the private pool - wow. Food, staff, cleanliness - everything was amazing! I have no complaints!

My name is Mechelle me and 5 womens set out on a trip for relaxzation from our men and kids i love that it was no kids there we went on many trips since then and nothing has compare to the time we had there we every so often go on the web just to check and see if it's reopen before we plan our girls trip every time so we will be so delighted to see it reopen so we can return .signed trying to get back

My wife and I stayed here twice and could not have enjoyed our selves more. So dissapointed when we found out they closed.No complaints.Enjoyed the avery and waterfalls and all the great food.Would go back in a heartbeat. Please don't pay any attention to the couple bad reviews, They are nonsense.

Staff was wonderful and friendly, food was quite good. Pool and drinks were awesome!! Too bad it closed, as we were hoping to go back for our 10th anniversary this year.

My husband and I honeymooned there in 1995 and it was wonderful! The Enchanted Garden was a beautiful place...many waterfalls, aviary, flower gardens, etc. It was also a romantic place with a lot of secluded spaces. The food was good, the two pools were helpful. The beach was a short ride away and that was fne....you felt like you were on a secluded island at this resort, so you got to see more of Jamaica that way! We took a lovely day trip to Dunns River and a few other places. We tried to go back in 2005 for our 10th anniversary, but our children were too small to leave. Someday!!!

Natural, beautiful and a perfect place for honeymooners! I would have got a room with a plunge pool on the balcony had I know what they actually were. But we loved the beauty of the entire place, and the little waterfalls tucked amongst the greenery - and the selection of private hammocks that could be founded in secluded spots throughout.

We were married at the resort in 1998 and said we would return on our 10th anniversary! An amazing experience...food, staff, grounds and entertainment. We had some problems with our air conditionning and we happy with the attention we received. Desperately saving money to take a return trip!
